To groom them holistically and make them confident and independent, communication and verbal skills were added as part of the curriculum. As the institute grew, women from the economically challenged community started approaching for admissions. They were very keen to learn skills to stand on their feet but paying the fee was a challenge. In 2012 the institute started a scholarship program to support 5 of these students. As the years went by the student strength increased and so did the need for skill training. In 2017, Smt. Sitadevi Taparia Charitable Trust joined hands to support, by giving scholarships to 40 women. The strength of the students grew to 650 in 2019 of which 500 were part of the scholarship program under the trust. During the pandemic, despite the difficulties that we faced, online classes and training were quickly set up. Students with the support of the institute formed small Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and started taking orders for cloth masks and PPE Kits to supply to industries which helped them to earn an income.
