Business incubation program

The Business Incubation Program is an initiative of SDTT Khajani with ANWA as the implementation partner. Aatm Nirbhar Women’s Association Trust is a nonprofit organisation. ANWA under its vision of uplifting and empowering women through entrepreneurial development is creating an ecosystem that encourages and guides women to be self-reliant. This program will create a platform to handhold the women of Brij to convert their skills and business ideas into a revenue-generating business by the end of the program.

About the program

Located in the heart of Mathura, the Business Incubation Program will offer women access to business training with experts, an extensive mentor network, co-working infrastructure, product development resources, vendor connects, industry networks, and government partners, as well as access to funds and funders specializing in supporting women-led businesses.

The major modules covered in the program will include:
  • Shaping business idea into a concrete business plan
  • Creating a marketing plan
  • Creating a financial and funding plan

Program structure

20 women will be selected based on certain criteria for every cohort. All selected candidates will undergo 3 months (150 hours) of intensive business training. The objective is that at the end of the 3 months each participant is ready with a business plan to be implemented or ready to take their business to the next level by building a brand, growing their customer and revenue base, and, if appropriate, work towards raising funds for scaling up operations and market growth.

Mode of Conduct

The program will be conducted in the newly furnished well-equipped incubation lab facility at the SDTT Khajani Institute campus.
